Retail Associate – Part-Time

We're looking for a friendly and motivated individual to join our team as a retail associate at Switch Wicked. The ideal candidate has great communication skills and a strong eye for detail. This role primarily involves assisting customers in our retail storefront, which features apparel, local art, video games, movies and skateboarding gear. Approximately 10–20 hours/week.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting customers and helping them find products in-store

  • Operating the point-of-sale system and handling transactions

  • Restocking merchandise and maintaining a clean, organized storefront

  • Assisting with product knowledge and recommendations

  • Helping count and track inventory

  • Taking photos or short videos for social media content when needed

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to stay organized

  • Willingness to jump in and help with various tasks across departments

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

  • Interest in art, video games, movies and/or skateboarding is a plus, but not required

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old to ensure employee safety and comply with labor laws
